Our practice locks are authentic! Once removed from an OEM vehicle, a professional locksmith then refurbishes the lock to ensure the best possible experience for Lishi picking and decoding. To simplify decoding practice, every lock comes with a sticker displaying the key cuts and the original manufacturer’s key code. However, since these locks come from salvage yards they could have cosmetic and/or tumbler wear.
These locks are ideal for use with the generation 1 Original Lishi HU66 2-In-1 Pick or HU66 Key Reader. Generation 1 or simply Gen. 1 locks mean that the tumblers are double bitted and alternate sides. This means that when picking these locks, you will find that there is spring tension first on one side of a tumbler then on the opposite side of the next tumblers. Generation 1 locks DO NOT have paired tumblers. Remember that when it comes to using Original Lishi tools, practice is your key to picking and decoding success.
